For younger crowd or a family.

Definitely for families or a younger crowd. We ended up leaving mid tour. They didn't check our mobile tickets either so I'm sure you could just walk up and join. Also, they do call on you quiet a lot so if you're not comfortable with that sort of thing I'd say skip out.

I enjoyed the historical part. Also thebuilding itself was very unique... for a jail ! However I wish we were given a little more time to get photos outside and in the lower part of the building. We were a very small group.

Very interesting to us. I don’t think my little little kids enjoyed it as much but it would be interesting I would say for anyone seven or eight years old and up. Jake, the tour guide was very animated and interesting though.

Amusing jail tour
Elizabeth_K
, Mar 2021
Our tour guide was great. She was amusing, and very informative. She gave us a lot of information about things that happened in the 1800’s, how the jail was moved to that location. Ladies couldn’t not wear dresses above their knees, and would be punished in a cage.
